Isle of Man Resident / Student Registration

Before completing the resident application form please view the following advice pages which explain the departure and arrival process when travelling to and from the Isle of Man.

If you have registered previously, you will already have a Resident Registration (RR) number.  This number should be used to complete a Landing Form every time you travel.

Alternatively you can download and print a paper copy for manual completion and return.

Each traveller will receive a Manx Entry Certificate, with a unique Resident Registration (RR) Number, confirming entry to travel to the Isle of Man.  Your details are also recorded on the Isle of Man Government travel database.

This reference number will be required again when completing the Landing Form Application which MUST be completed 48 hours prior to arrival.  See Landing Form section below for further details.

Compassionate Visits to the Isle of Man

Before completing a non-resident compassionate visit application form please view the following advice pages which explain the departure and arrival process when travelling to and from the Isle of Man.

Each application for Compassionate Entry will be considered on its own merits, before travel is approved to enter the Isle of Man.

Non-resident Compassionate Exemption Form

All travellers will receive an Exemption Entry Certificate, with a unique Compassionate Exemption (C-UK) Reference Number confirming entry to travel to the Isle of Man.  Your details are also recorded on the Isle of Man Government travel database.

Travellers will then use this unique Compassionate Exemption (C-UK) Reference Number as part of the Landing Form Application process which needs to be completed with 48 hours of arrival.

Non-Residents travelling to live or work in the Isle of Man

Contractual Exemption Application Form for Non-Isle of Man Residents

Each application will be considered on its own merits, before travel is approved to enter the Isle of Man.  

All travellers will receive an Exemption Entry Certificate, with a unique a Non-resident Contractual Entry Request (C-CON) Reference Number confirming entry to travel to the Isle of Man. Your details are also recorded on the Isle of Man Government travel database.

Travellers will then use this unique Non-resident Contractual Entry Request (C-CON) number as part of the Landing Form Application process which needs to be completed with 48 hours of arrival.

IMPORTANT: A landing form must only be completed within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival on the Isle of Man 

Completion of this form any sooner would invalidate your application which may delay your onward journey on arrival.

You can also download and print a paper copy for manual completion, this should be passed to the Port Security Officers on arrival.
