Borders framework

When will the borders reopen?

The Isle of Man's border restrictions are being gradually phased out to achieve the Government's ambition of unrestricted travel within the British Isles. This approach is subject to the continued improvement of the United Kingdom situation and the continued progress of the Island's vaccination programme.

The Island will move to Border Level 1.5 on Monday 28 June.

The Borders framework has been a living document, which we have updated and amended according to the data and decisions made.

The Isle of Man is currently operating at Border Level 1.5
