Eight new coronavirus cases confirmed - 10am 8 April 2020

Since the last update (4pm Tuesday 07 April) there have been eight further confirmed positive tests for coronavirus.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Isle of Man now stands at 158.

In total 150 patients have been instructed to self-isolate and seven are being treated at the hospital. The contact tracing process is already underway led by Public Health.

There have been 1,539 concluded tests, 220 people are awaiting results and 81 people are awaiting tests.

In total 80 individuals are presumed to have recovered from the virus. 

There has been one death caused by the coronavirus in the Isle of Man.
