Travel requirements for minors

Children aged 11 or under are not required to complete a Manx Entry Permit or isolation exemption application, but a landing card still needs to be completed for them. If they are an Isle of Man Resident, a landing card still needs to be completed for them by the adult they are travelling with. If they are not an Isle of Man Resident they will need to use the Manx Entry Permit reference number of the Adult they are travelling with. 

Please read the information carefully below, which is split by age group.

Age 0 - 11 years

  • DO require landing form. Use a responsible adult's Manx Entry Permit or Vaccination exemption number (Unless they are a resident, in which case no number is required)
  • Do NOT require testing or isolation
  • Do NOT require their own application for entry
Age 12 - 15 years
  • DO require landing form. Use a responsible adult's Use a responsible adult's Manx Entry Permit or Vaccination exemption number (Unless they are a resident, in which case no number is required)
  • DO require testing and isolation 
  • Do NOT require their own application for entry

Depending on where they have travelled from will determine whether they will be required to do an LFT test, or PCR pathway. Please visit our main Travel to the Isle of Man page to see what is required on arrival.

Age 16 - 17 years

  • DO require a landing form. (Manx Entry Permit number not required if following Resident Pathway)
  • DO require testing and isolation (unless following Resident Pathway) unless they are fully vaccinated (please see below)
  • DO require their own application for entry
