NHS COVID Pass
The NHS Covid Pass shows your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination details.
The pass provides proof of your vaccination status in a secure format which is internationally recognised.
Unfortunately, at this point in time the Covid Pass, nor Manx Care, can provide a Covid Recovery Letter or Certificate.
There are private providers that offer this service, either on or off the Isle of Man.
You may be asked to show your NHS COVID Pass:
- to travel abroad
- at events and venues in England and elsewhere, where proof of your COVID-19 vaccinations is required
How to get your NHS COVID Pass
There are three options available to demonstrate your COVID-19 vaccination status: via the NHS App, through the NHS website and via letters from the NHS.
You can get a digital NHS COVID Pass in two ways:
- online – download, save and print your pass on a home computer, laptop or mobile device
- on the NHS App - view and show your pass on the NHS App on your smartphone or tablet.
To create a digital COVID Pass you will first need to register with the NHS and create a unique login, to ensure secure access to your personal vaccination record.
To do this you will need internet access, a mobile phone and an email address.
If you need the NHS COVID Pass for travel abroad, additional steps are required during the login process to prove your identity, and these are explained in the Frequently Asked Questions below.
You can get a NON-digital NHS COVID pass:
Anyone who is unable to access a digital pass can request a letter confirming their vaccination status from their GP.
There may be a cost to this, processing time will vary for each practice. Please discus directly with your GP practice.
If you live in the Isle of Man and had your vaccination abroad in certain countries, you can ask to have this added to your NHS vaccination record. Once it is added you can get an NHS COVID Pass. Find out more information about vaccinations abroad.
